Kind of cool looking, if it was me I'd let it grow out a little and see what it looks like more mature/larger. As long as its not annoying any corals. Looks to be stretching for light, so I'm sure a nem cannon would work if you want to get rid of it.

If it is Florida live rock, it is a lightbulb anemone. They are a type of aip, but not as bad at spreading. They still spread though. Think bta splitting.

you have 3 options

1. Inject with some vinegar that has been heated up to almost a boil. This will also kill the gametes inside. They are actually able to reproduce by internal fertilization. As in dropping sperm onto the eggs inside the nem.

2. remove the rock and just scrape it off, rinse that area with a little peroxide and then rinse in some old tank water. The h2o2 causes gametes to bust, preventing asexual reproduction.

3. build a tiny nem cannon with either a straw or any small piece of pipe that will fit around it. See thread below for how to do that.

Wild species it as described by Eagle Steve
Using syringe, inject either lemon juice or better yet. . kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject into the very center core and it will melt away
