Thats what I was thinking too, I was thinking more of Macrodactyla doreensis (corkscrew nem).Aptasia usually have more fingers.
Yeah the tentacles seem too few, fat, and colorful for aiptasia.its does have a little purple to it. big fat tentacles.
Where did you get your rock from? Is it live rock from the gulf? That would make a lot of sense.yes...looks just like this one you have. Just smaller.
If it is Florida live rock, it is a lightbulb anemone. They are a type of aip, but not as bad at spreading. They still spread though. Think bta splitting.
