depends, are they bothering corals? Aptasia x usually takes em out, but then u might end up with a bunch of tiny aptasia.Better to be safe then sorry you reckon?
Not bothering anything at this stagedepends, are they bothering corals? Aptasia x usually takes em out, but then u might end up with a bunch of tiny aptasia.
They are very small and hard to see but looks like they do retract into tubes, I just can't tell if they are are hard. Are these pests to be concerned with?Do they retract into hard tubes? They look similar to colonial hydroids (which reside in tubes).

I have a few in my macroalgae setup, where they have not spread much and do not bother their tankmates, though they seem to be more troublesome in reef aquaria. They are very small and hard to see but looks like they do retract into tubes, I just can't tell if they are are hard. Yea. Those aren’t good. I’ve had them. I’ve had pretty good sucess just putting putty on them though.
They are filter feeders , and I feed NPS and bivalves. But still managed to contain them.
Seems the general consensus is they aren't great but also not horrible, I'll keep an eye on them and maybe glue up for now. ThanksI have a few in my macroalgae setup, where they have not spread much and do not bother their tankmates, though they seem to be more troublesome in reef aquaria.
