So a Aiptasia outbreak started in my tank. Had about 15 of them. Including some growing out from a densely populated zoa rock. I purchased Red Sea Aiptasia X. Easy to use and worked as advertised. The applicator works very well.

I also did a treatment today on about 7 Aiptasias with Aiptasia-x. I also found the syringe made the application very easy. I have heard mixed things about the success rate so I will keep an eye to see if they reappear or if new ones spawn at an increaced rate. I made sure I really got the Aiptasia in the mouth and covered it in X to not leave any risk of it surviving.

If you're lucky, you killed it and have solved your problem.
If not, give it some time, maybe a couple weeks, and you'll notice a bunch of small aiptasia in the spot where you killed the original.

The latter has been my experience most of the time. I do wish you luck though!

Yup, agree with you.
Did all of mine 6 months ago, have not seen one since.

I have used concentrated lemon juice with success. Sure less expensive than Aiptasia-x

Never had success getting rid of aiptasia without a natural predator - Our reef tanks are a perfect heaven for aiptaisa to thrive and generally not a heaven for our predators to thrive.
