My overflow has got probably 15 in it. Some at the bottom I can't even reach. Also tank has got quit a few on rocks. Would a peppermint shrimp survive in the overflow? Any suggestions on getting this under control? Thanks.

You either remove the Overflow and nuke it, or leave em be. They tend to stay put in high nutrient spots, and don't spread when they are in there. I've got a few in mine, and they haven't budged nor gotten out into my DT, so I leave em.
