Mixed reefAre you sps or lps dominate?
You’ll need to wait for them to reproduce to make an impact on aiptasiaI’ve got 2 before. They didn’t do anything for me. How many do you recommend?
That’s a good option. Just so worried to put a butterfly/ filefish in my tankMixed reef
filefish are fine and those butterfly’s are not adapted to eat coral. I’ve never heard of issues with butterfly’s and have seen them in coral reef tanks. I had a filefish in mine fro the longest time and never had an issue personally. I’ve also seen filefish in coral tanks too. I understand the stigma and ultimately the choice is yours. Copper and will do a better job of eating Aiptasia and filefish will do a better job of controlling potential outbreaks. That’s a good option. Just so worried to put a butterfly/ filefish in my tank

Here is a great example of a filefish in a mixed reef eating Aiptasia.

Berghia Nudibranchs.
The aiptasia will be actively dying after frank gets through with themFor future reference, this is not an emergency. Emergencies are for when things are actively dying.
