I have aiptasia on a few of my coral frags. The frag plugs arnt glued down so would I be able to pull them from the tank and just scrub the aiptasia off with a toothbrush?
Or would this cause them to spread

I would think if you can remove the plug, and make sure to get the aptasia off, you should be good. Just be sure to get it all off... maybe shoot it with some boiling water or something... these things take a lickin!

I wouldn't be removing the coral from the plug tho. I would have to take the whole thing out

I don't know the first thing about fragging or removing corals from plugs.. :(
Well there are surely others with more experience than me around, but I have found stony coral's to break off rather easily, and soft coral's I have shaved off with a razor blade taking just a sliver of the plug at the base with them. Wish I had some pics ar a good link for you, hopefully someone comes along with more experience for you

If it helps were talking about 2 acan frags and a mushroom

Lemon juice, alk paste, boiling water, AptasiaX are all options, but I don't like using them too close to a coral
