Aiptasia question.

So I have yhese rock that have been out of the water for over 3 months. The tank they came from was infested with aiptasia. Is their a chance hey can regrow from that rock?

Although I have never tested this theory, it is my understanding that if the Aiptasia has completely dried out then it will not return. Good luck!

You should be fine... but any dead organic matter on the rock will break down when you put the rock back in water. You might want to soak it first for a couple weeks to breakdown the organics in the rock.

Dip it in bleach water and nothing will survive.

Aptasia are a plague but that long out of the water, you should be good. I've seen them personally survive over 8 hours out of the water though. I agree with soaking the rock for a bit, dont put it directly back into the tank.

So should I dip it in water and bleach. How long. Should it be just bleach and water or also salt. Will the bleach not get soaked into the rock.
