Not sure if this is considered an emergency but i rather deal with it now before it becomes one. I’ve spotted 3 aiptasia on one of my frags. They’re very small so it looks like I caught it early enough. The question is what is the best way to get rid of them? They’re too small to use lemon juice, Joes juice and aiptasia x. I’ve heard ppl use peppermint shrimp but I’m afraid they might eat up my zoas (zoa frag tank). I’m about to pull the trigger and buy some Berghia Nudibranchs. What’s my best take?

Definitely as James said, no need to panic. If they are real small scrape them off or just use some coral glue and glue over them. Nudibranch is nuclear when just need a pea shooter:)

#mods can you move this to the pest forum.

A tank is not undergoing an emergency unless it’s lost at least 25% of its water, 25% of its livestock, or equivalent imo.

Just toss the frag if you are worried. Nudi's or peppermints can work. Nudis will starve when the aiptasia are gone. Peppermints will eat your corals if nothing else to eat.

Remove frag, scrape what you can and dip the base of the plug in lemon juice, then peroxide, then dip whole thing in some clean water, and put it back in your tank

Simply using a syringe, inject lemon juice into their core and watch them melt

I have had 100% success with using lemon juice and Mainly Kalwasser mixed to a paste like texture and melted out an infestation.
