Im having a problem with those freaking aiptasias... I have been using AiptasiaX, but its not working... Everyday I see a new one. What Can I do now?
Thanks for the help.

I had a few hundred and bought a filefish and they were all gone in a few weeks. They also like zoas and lps so be careful.

I second this. On my best fish investments. Also yes these fish need jobs aka aiptasia to pick, otherwise they will start to pick something else. Mine went after zoas, once he annihilated the aiptasia.

I like my zoas too much! Any other options? Peppermint shrimp Is not doing anything.

I've had great results with lemon. Juice and a plastic syringe in my tank. Aptasia x works too, for some reason they come back.

Berghia Nudibranchs took down thousands for me. The nudibrachs population grows in correlation with the amount of aiptaisia and they don't eat anything else. They're pricy but as the population grows you can sell a few spares to cover your cost. In fact selling them as soon as you notice half of the aiptaisia are gone is best, after they're all gone the nudis starve and die.

My file fish has not touched my Zoas and I have had him for almost a year

If u can remove the rocks and super glue "cyanoacrylate" the Aiptasia. It is difficult since one u put out the rock it is hard to see the Aiptasia.
This is what I have been doing and I have not seen Aiptasia were I applied the super glue.

Easiest way to keep them down is boil some water and squirt about a milliliter on each one. This kills them and they dont propagate. If you try to smash them, they will go everywhere. Boiling water is the most effective, cheap and safest way ive found to knock them back quickly. takes about 5mins 1 time per week.

I am having the same issue in my tank but I think I am more along the lines of about 100+. I have a file fish. He doesn't eat them. I dropped 24 peppermint shrimp. They had zero effect. I have tried 3 copperbands. All have died for one reason or another. The laser. Well I would love to know which one they used cause I bought a 1mw and a 5mw laser each were no more effect as a cat toy then a aptasia killer. I put in 10 Berghia Nudibranchs and well they must had been starving cause when the hit the tank and found aptasia. Well 5 out of 11 got stung and ate. It's very depressing to have a lot of money tied up in a tank to have it over run with zero you can do about it. But I will find a way. I WILL FIND A WAY!!!!!

You can use the aptaisa x. Then put reef puty over them while hey are closed. I used peppermint shrimp. But like you said they are not doing it. You can get a copper band.

I think peppermint and copperbands. Only eat the small ones. I have also used kalk paste and reef puty before I got the shrimp.
