Good morning,
I am currently cheering on a herd of Berghia to take out my massive aiptasia invasion and I started thinking and looking more closely at my tank in general. I noticed something I consider curious. I don't really have any algae in the tank. I know one of the reasons I have so many aiptasia is over feeding my tank, but why don't I have algae as well?
Any thoughts?

You would need to post a complete description of your setup including a full set of water parameters for anyone to take a stab at that question...

I don't believe there is a direct correlation between over feeding and Aptaisia spreading. They spread like wild fire on there own, food or not... If you don't have an algae issue you might not be over feeding as much as you think:)

Currently I'm cutting back big time on my feedings and watching the bubble and GHA disappear in my tank while the Aptaisia are still holding strong:mad:

i have found that a needle and syringe full of Hydrogen peroxide has been beneficial in killing them quick stab in the base and inject a bit of it and watch them bubble up and dissolve
