Aiptasia with superglue?

How long "free"? I'm curious.

At least a couple years in a 200g full of rock. On rare occasion I may see one pop up on a new frag (especially Zoa) and nuke it. FTR I have never used predators to get rid of them.

Believe someone said Aiptasia X is garbage. It works very well IMO but you have to get it into the mouth so the tentacles close around it. Probably does seem garbage if not following directions and just squirting it on. There's a reason for the syringe along with straight and angled tips.

Most so called remedies just make them explode and you get a great warm feeling inside until one day in the corner of your eye….. I’m back , I’m invincible !

I was thinking if you glued them in the mouth their tentacles wrap around the glue and it can’t feed or reproduce and die??

I think I've gotten in from a few stores near me. Just did a zoa order on here and there's 1 on two frags. They love me I guess

3 is my limit , number 4 and they get it
Got a couple of lazy butt pepps but always was a long shot
I got mine of a very generous online retailer
Never again !

Seems to just kill them, it hardens over them(I make sure they're more than completely covered before I drop them into water to harden the glue). Haven't had any come back just a glue blop on the frag

Ya, it's frag plugs that I find aiptasia on so I'm able to take it out to glue it. I'm not sure it would work in tank unless the glue somehow didn't allow water in because I believe it hardens when it makes contact with water

Anyone tried dripping a blob of superglue on these bu44ers ?
Thinking they won’t be able to fire of spores by not exploding like with aip-x etc
Just shut them up so to speak

I used superglue on a couple that were on a small rock with a coral on it. It worked for me.

How did it react? Pulled the glue in or it stuck to the tentacles together?
