Aiptasia????

This is my green star polyp. I've had it for a week. I've noticed this orange growth. Is this aiptasia. If so how do I treat it? Thanks

It doesn't look like aiptasia. Could be hydroids or pineapple sponge

Yeah it doesn't look like a typical aiptasia but I still don't t like the looks of it. Id probably kill it... with fire.

looks a little orange to be aiptasia, but i 100% agree, kill with fire just incase. it looks too close to be worth letting it proliferate.

What makes me nervous is how fast its growing. Looks like you could just clip that piece of mat off.
