Hello,

I recently ordered a frag pack, and all of the frags are currently sitting in my invert QT, and I was closely inspecting the frags when I saw this under one of the zoas...is this aiptasia? I'm pretty sure it is, but wanted more opinions. If it is, what is the best course of action to take? I was thinking about enclosing it in super glue gel, but it is super close to the zoa.

Hard to tell exactly from the picture but your most likely correct, not sure super glue by itself would work but I would try to carefully cut/scrape it off with a small knife then super glue over that spot.

For the love of god, do not let those little buggers spread! On a microscopic level they will disperse throughout the tank and grow everywhere. I highly recommend using joes juice, but you have to be diligent about really injecting joes juice right into the mouth of it. If you are going to remove it manually, please take it out, remove the aptasia and scrub the crap out of the frag and put it back into Qt and observe. I’m just giving you my opinion and first hand experience. Remembering my first fight against aptasia years ago.... when I didn’t dip or QT : / good luck man!!!
