Hello all.

My reef has always had aiptasia. My copperband butterfly makes sure none is visibly present in the display, however, they are on the overflows and sump. I do have quite a bit around.
I was thinking to try and eradicate them with "Aiptasia Away", but I here's my question:

Should I just leave them alone? Reason is, after all, they're helping me control nutrients, they're not stinging anything and aren't visible.

So, what would you do in my case?

Thank you!

What you dont want to do is break them up into pieces or they will spread faster then the butterfly can eat them. You could try nudi's or peppermint shrimp if the flow is not too much.

Pep shrimps dont last in my tank with my 17 wrasses. Nudis neither. I am not sure if you read my entire post?

following along, as I have huge ones in the sump, but none in the DT. just dropped 2 pepp shrimp in the sump to see if they will take care of them.

I mis-understood. I was thinking they were in your sump and overflow
