Yes. If you only see the one, Google "Removing aiptasia with hot water" It is safer than chemical ways and it is super easy.

I tried boiling water. I removed the rock just long enough to squirted with boiling water. I ended up with hundreds of them!

yep kalk paste melt it

You're supposed to superficially inject the water into the anemone, not squirt it at its surface!

what the heck? You took the rock out and poured boiling water over it?

Nope nope nope. Whoever gave you that advise, owes you some money. The process is simple.

1- Find a turkey baster. I prefer "julian's thing multi-use tool" for more control
2- Boil a quart of RODI water in the microwave
3- Turn off the flow to your aquarium
4- Slowly start injecting the boiling water at the base of the Aiptasia without disturbing the tentacles first. If it retracts before you start injecting the water, you have failed and need to start over.
5- Keep injecting water until it lets go and they suction it out of your tank.

This video shows the process and results.

They are like wolves. You know if you only see one, you really have to worry about the ones you can't see. A had a mild break out before, Filefish are known to work. I had success the a good group of peppermint shrimps. Both also natural ways chemical free options. I have used Kalk paste to get rid of other pests too.

Yes it does look like it

I thought so. This tank and a few others with more are at a lfs.

use F-aptasia. It forms a kalk like shell over the aptasia and eliminates it completely. use as directed. Joe's juice and aptasia x not as good. nudibranchs work but you need a lot, it's expensive, and they get eaten by wrasses. Mojana wand works if they are on a flat surface. shrimp often go after zoos. aptasia filefish have not worked for me, but they are cool and I love them.
