Is this aiptasia? Or some sort of sponge type deal? I’ve had this bubble for at least a couple months now and haven’t added a coral in at least a month, and I don’t see them elsewhere in the tank. All corals have been dipped in brightwell koralmd before adding.

Ive heard breaking it off can cause it to spread. Any reason I can’t just take the coral out, dip it in some saltwater in a separate container and rip it off in that container? Then obviously put the coral back and empty the container and bleach it or whatever.

People claim using aiptasia X will only cause leftover bits to cause a zombie apocalypse in your tank.

I had one hitchhiker on a frag, used AX...haven't had once since.

Aiptasia X works great. Just have to be careful around the corals.
Something like that I would cut off in a small container with salt water, do a hydrogen peroxide dip and put it back in.

Using a syringe, mix kalkwasser powder with water and form a paste like solution and inject into the center core of the aptasia and watch it melt away
