Wow I've never seen aptasia on glass before. The first picture definitely looks like aptasia to me. To remove: try removing using suction (turkey baster or syphon)

Use a siphon instead of Turkey baster...if waters only going out you'll be less likely to spread it throughout the tank.... and you don't want that!

Does it move? It looks like too many tentacles for aiptasia, possibly a soft coral eating nudibranch.

I was almost thinking that as well, looked more opaque than an aptasia

I feel like I've seen something like this in another posting regarding hitchhikers and people were saying it was an anemone of some sort. I can't seem to find that thread right now though.

Aptasia doesn’t just go away. If anything, it was blown off and now is growing somewhere else

Nope, they will stick like glue to the glass, but easier to remove then on a rock

Only seen the 1 for now. Tank is fairly new and I dipped the corals I got. Only thing that fell off them where some pods. Must of been a bit hardier then the pods that fell off.

+1 for not aiptasia. Trust me, I had plenty of them at one time. Tentacles are all wrong.

I just got something on my glass that looks exactly like it! Doesn't look like aiptasia to me. Should I remove it?
