Aiptasia?

Hi ALL,
As I’m really new in hobby, not sure if this is aiptasia? Got some polyps and after removing them from rock I found this small thingy.. is this aiptasia? Please help

It’s not aiptasia I can tell you that. But not 100% sure what it is. It kind of looks like a torch coral though. And I see some green hair algae and possibly a sponge or coral skeleton.

Yap, I added some rocks from friends reef to help with cycling. Green hair algae came as result of cycling but I just noticed that thingy on rock so still trying to figure out what is it.. thanks for quick reply…

Looks like a ball anemone to me. Just so you’re aware aiptasia isn’t an emergency only use that tag if tank is cracked or losing all of your livestock.

Agreed on the ball anenome or could be a Manjo.

Undesired, but not an emergency. You'll have plenty of undesirables show up. Just manage as they appear.
