Aiptasia?

I picked up a zoa plug from my lFS and I've had this in the tank about two weeks and I just noticed this small thing below the zoa. Is it aphasia? Sorry for the video quality, it is the best I could snag.

Can’t see the vid but in the fuzzy photo it looks like a fan worm, not an Aiptasia.

I thought it looked too feathery to be aiptasia, but it's so small, and I didn't want to take any chances. Thank you for the identification. I'm assuming this is an okay thing to have?

Plus 1 for feather duster. People will spend money to get these as they can be quite beautiful, and they filterfeed so they'll either die out on their own if there aren't enough nutrients in the tank, or they'll proliferate and meanwhile lower tank nutrients while giving you a bunch of cute little feather tubes around the tank!

The awesome thing is when I bought the coral my son was also wanting a feather duster but I didn't want to add too much yet. This was the frag he picked instead. So it's a win win for sure. Thanks everyone for verifying!

And the even more awesome thing is these mini feather dusters a significantly hardier and easier to keep around than the big ones you see at your fish store!

Its a hydroid or tube worm which uses its fan to capture food. They can multiply. Place a dab of gel superglue on its head and it will starve to death

How do you tell the difference between hydroids and mini feather dusters? I always thought hydroids were more tubular than that

Tube worms extended are more feather duster like in appearance and droids more anemone like . The tube of hydroids are often bent in appearance as they are protein based.
