Aiptasia?

Is this an Aiptasia? If so how can I kill it without hurting the Acan?

Definitely aiptasia I would either pull the plug out quick and either put super glue over the aiptasia or if you have any reef putty around. You don’t want them reproducing in your tank. Is there any way you could snip that part of the plug off ?

Looks like aiptasia. You can kill with kalk paste or a product like F-Aiptasia

I could try to snip if off. Not sure what plugs are made of. If I superglue over it should I cut the Aiptasia off first? Then glue over the stump?

Will the paste hurt the coral?

Definitely don’t cut it one piece falls off somewhere in the tank and there will be another one growing.

I’ve had my share of aiptasia I use aiptasia x took a few times and a few weeks but it’s all gone now. I would just glue his mouth shut and you should be good.

scrape it off and put reef safe super glue it on it and you will be fine
