Air freshener paranior

Is anyone else paranoid about air fresheners aerasoles effecting water
What do you use to keep the air smelling nice in the room where your tanks are. TIA

Nothing but fresh air from outside. But then I don't mind the scent of a reef tank.

It’s not so much the tanks they don’t seem to let off smell I have 3 in my living room but I have two dogs so it’s keeping the dog smell down every time my wife walk anywhere near the living room with a freshner she gets threatened with divorce lol

I've found that running carbon helps a lot with any smell in the tank room.

I won't use sprays of any kind in that room, that goes for cleaning/dusting products and air fresheners.

Very paranoid of any spray product. To control oder in my fish room I use a cheap box fan and duct tape one of the carbon air filters from home improvement stores to it.

I think you are right to be, spay works by spraying small droplets of water into the air, these drop down and can land in the water.
I would try and get across to your wife the spray is not removing the smell but only masking it, come up with a better solution.
Opening windows would be good for the tank and the smell, fitting a window extractor fan etc and a bath routine for the dogs.

Luckily she never does as she knows. yes looks like just more dog baths they are short hair but sometimes get a bit of wiff smelly dog odour
