Air in brs doser tubing.

I have noticed that after a few days my brs 1.1 ml dosers keep accumulating small pockets of air in the tubing near the curve which angles down into the tank. Searching the other reef forums comes up with multiple threads describing this none actually come up with a solution.


I’m considering using some silicone grease on the tubing connections as I don’t think it’s an actual tubing issue. I’m using both rigid RO and soft airline tubing and it’s affecting both lines.


Please help as its driving me nuts

Does the air move when it runs? Assuming this air wasn’t already in the line the first place I’d suggest you check is where the input meets the doser. Cut off a short section of the tube and reattach.

mine does this when i have run out of solution and it runs dry for any amount of time. eventually it settles out and clears the lines.
