My skimmer did not seem to be drawing enough air thru my CO2 scrubber to help maintain PH. However I had one of the coralife pumps sitting around from my days with Discuss breeding and thought I bet I could hook the hose running from my CO2 scrubber to that intake looking thing. I then put the output to my algae scrubber and an air stone and it has done the trick. This thing draws so much air thru the tube that you can feel the suction on the intake on the CO2 scrubber and my PH is now perfect!
Figured I would post this in case anyone was looking for another option for CO2, I do have to warn your however this thing sounds a bit like a freight train, of course mine is over 10 years old so that may be part of the noise issue.

That’s a great tip!

Yeah thats a good idea but dang they are loud. I used to have one. If you have a separate room or dont mind the noise its pretty viable. Works pretty good

Right I was more curious to see if it would work mostly because I had one sitting on a shelf, however it works so good now I am wondering if I can put up with the noise.
