We smoke and I don’t like to see it around the tank, Ive been looking at activated carbon 3 stage air purifiers to put over the tank which would blow clean air over it.
has anyone done this and if so has it helped in any noticeable way?
cheers

Hmmm this side of the pond you will be hard pressed to find people that smoke inside of their houses.

That said. It is good to get the windows open for PH/O2 reasons. I think that your activated carbon idea is a good one.

I remember back in the day they had smokeless ashtrays. This might be a good solution too to kill the problem at the source. Another thought is vaping. No sure where you stand with that but it could be a possible solution.

Hopefully you can find something useful there. :)

Hi,
the room is aired all day, window next to tank open and back door for the dog, i run carbon for toxins but though it may help to have the cleanest air I can get hitting the water surface?
i have a void under the floor also and was thinking about hooking up a pipe to the skimmer but worried about it getting blocked by a bug..
