I'm not sure if this goes in this thread or not. I'm pretty new. But I have been reading about how I should be agitating the surface of the water with a power head to give the water more oxygen and that having a glass on the top of the tank reduces oxygen. I have a big sump in my basement though with an air stone near the pump before it goes back up to the tank. I also have a trickle filter. Would that be enough oxygenation for the water even if the power head doesn't agitate it too much? Or should I move the air stone to the tank itself?

No airstone in the tank,, you will create a lot of salt creep.
That same counts for the sump in some sort of facts.
Trickle filter will give you enough oxygen.
Do you have a skimmer running on your system?
If you run a airstone in your sump run a wood airstone and run it 4 hours during the night about 2 or 3 inches away from your return pump or in the weir of your sump.
We call that Micronano bubbling.
Don't use a really big air pump but a rena pump of $20 is strong enough.

I have a skimmer yes. I have a dual air pump one line goes to the skimmer since its a diy one another goes to an air stone I have about 7 inches away from the return pump but I can always move that closer. The air stone runs all day.

Micronano work only with really fine bubbles from a wood air stone and only 5% of the micro will become micronano due to the return pump.
The rest will dissipate in the sump open air.
$ hours is plenty to scrub your tank as the bubbles are so fine you can't see them with the naked eye, a laser pointer will show them in the beam but eyes no.
