As I mentioned at the meeting I will be placing an order with them soon. Probably a couple weeks. I need ro/di filters. If anyone wants to go in on some of the DI resin let me know and we can split it. The more money we spend with them as a club the better their donation will be to our frag swap. So if you can take the time to look at their site and see if there is anything you need.

Are the resins and filters the same size for all units? i don't know what sizes to get. I JUST replaced my filters, but I'll need a resin sometime in the future. and aren't you supposed to change the filters every 3 or 6 months to save your resin?

Yes susan most of the filters are the same size. I will be ordering a bag of the DI resin. We can figure out how much we both need and just split it if you want.

really depends on how much water you make - Mine lasted almost a year - but with your big tank you are probably making more water than I am. If your filter housings are clear then you change them when they start turning a darker color. Or use a TDS meter and when it gets above zero then it's time to change filters

Mine is still running at zero and my DI resin is medium dark brown. filters were changed just the other day at probably 1 year (guess that was a little long....). I'm up for splitting the bag of DI resin. How many filters can you get (I've got a filter Guy version of RO/DI) in a pack and how ofter SHOULD I be changing them?
