Airline from skimmer to outdoor problem

So i just connected an airline from the skimmer to outside. and it didnt really increase my ph that much.

my usual ph is about 7.67 - 7.75.
after 1 day its 7.69- 7.83 only.

It increased some, you want it to be gradual anyway. And just to confirm because your pic is dark. Outside is outside the house right?

Yup its outside the house.
Ive read other peoples experience, and their ph increase immediarely to 8.++
 
If your tank was already well aerated, the line outside may not change much for ph. Although i suppose it's also possible you could be choking your skimmer air supply if you had to run a long, narrow hose a long distance to get outside air.
 
"Outside" looks like its maybe in a garage?

When mine when into "fresh-air-outside" the pH changed dramatically.
 
When I ran mine outside it took my tank about 4 days to fully raise from 7.7 to 8.2. I think it was due to the high CO2 in my house the tank had been running in for 5 years. So maybe it just takes time if your CO2 was really high. No scientific evidence just a thought.
 
Mine is run to the outside but when I open all the windows look what happens.
