Airline setup

I'm testing the results of what I will get for an airline from skimmer to the outside. Would like ideas on this. What does everyone do to put the carbon and filter floss in the air line to filter the air. My line will be in the driveway side of my house. Which the carbon will be important to not contaminate my DT with exhaust from my vehicles. Although might not be ideal this is the best option)route for me to take. I also plan on running ilthe pvc or tubing through a glass window that needs to be replaced anyway a huge crack. And just replace it with plexiglass from Lowes and drilled.

I used vinyl tubing and put a female garden hose end on the outside wall. Then I got a graco power painter strainer from Menards and screwed into the hose adapter. I didn’t use carbon, you could take a piece of PVC and put threaded adapters on each end place so screen or floss to contain the carbon and then screw in hose fittings and clamp.
My Red Sea skimmers have a carbon cup where the airlines can attach. I went with 3/4” tubing then reduced to 1/4” inside and tee’d it as the red sea has two nipples for incoming air.
