Airline setup

I'm testing the results of what I will get for an airline from skimmer to the outside. Would like ideas on this. What does everyone do to put the carbon and filter floss in the air line to filter the air. My line will be in the driveway side of my house. Which the carbon will be important to not contaminate my DT with exhaust from my vehicles. Although might not be ideal this is the best option)route for me to take. I also plan on running ilthe pvc or tubing through a glass window that needs to be replaced anyway a huge crack. And just replace it with plexiglass from Lowes and drilled.

You'll see a ph rise from 7.3-7.8 to about 8 or flattening at 8. Ppl who run 8.3-8.4 are using sulfar scrubbers or some kind of contraption.

Yeah I know my alk right now is at 8. I usually keep the alk at 10. Im going to dos alk and nothing else at the moment. Reef crystal salt is what I used to use and my alk was always at10. I just switched to fritz pro blue box. But I'm just monitoring the ph right now to see where it gets for pH levels over night. So far with the lights out I don't see any drop in pj yet.bit I do have a window open an inch for the tubing. But no breeze so that I don't think is raising the ph much with the window open an inch. But the air conditioner might be circulating the air but I don't think like I said makes a difference since the window is only opened and inch. And also no breeze

Yes you can run a fuge light opposite your display light. E.g. at night when you sleep and the light will help keep ph up and more stable over a 24hr period yes.
I don't run a lit refugium no. I run a dark cryptic fuge with low/med flow and rock and sponge. Like reef sponge.
Biopellets and skimmer are my main Filtration.
