is it possible for salinity to rise while using an air stone in a DT? Trying to figure out why my salinity went up from 1.024 to 1.025 in a week with ATO. My DT is a 10 gal nuvo10 so I don’t have room for parameter swings. Thanks.

Ok awesome I’d double check my salinity again on my Milwaukee.

Ok this might the answer. I just remembered this. I did a water change before this past Sunday 10% my salinity before was the water change was 1.024 and when I refilled the water my new water was at 1.026. But from Monday & Tuesday it was 1.024 and today it jumped to 1.025.

Could that be the reason? Hopefully I made sense here lol

If you are using the Milwaukee MA887 Digital Salinity Refractometer, then it only claims accuracy to +/- 2 ppt (PSU), which makes your two measurements (1.024 = 32 ppt and 1.025 = 33 ppt) equivalent. :)
