Would a large air stone increase DO levels if it's in the sump? Thanks.

It might if O2 is below saturation.

Do you have a specific reason to be concerned about O2.

Not necessarily, I have 3 Marbled Catsharks in my tank along with approximately 20 other fish. I am running a Bubble Magus B12 and B9.

Do you think there would be any reason why it wouldn't be saturated? I also have lids on my tank. I was thinking about doing this just for redundancy.

Lots of fish, low aeration, especially at night. Use of organic carbon dosing.

But do the 2 protein skimmers make up for it? My pH generally never gets below 8.1 at night, is 8.3 with lights on.

I also have 3 power heads in DT that are aimed at the surface generating a lot of surface disruption.
