Albino Snow White

My Albino Snow White cichlid has something seriously wrong with his anus, I don’t even know how to describe it.. looks bruised or something but pics show something else. Please help me find out whats’s wrong or I’m going to lose him

Hi, Welcome to Reef2Reef!

This site is mostly about marine fish and invertebrates, but I do a lot of work with freshwater fish diseases as well....

Trouble is, this fish is what is termed "moribund", close to death. There really isn't anything that you can do for it at this point. It seems to have a severe internal infection - either bacterial or a particular protozoan that cichlids are prone to called Cryptobia.

Agrre with Jay.... This is late stage and recovery chance very low. This is prolapsed rectal issue often caused by pelleted foods, constipation and bowel issues. Epsom salt infused food, and epsom salt in tank water may have resolved this but fish seems to have a severe case of prolapsed rectum.
If this fish recovers from the prolaps treat it with Kanamycin.
