Hello ! ;)

Starting a new system today with the RedSea Reefer 250.
I really liked my Shallow 30x30x12 but small things that I wanted to fix and couldn't pushed me to breakdown the tank and start all over and make it exactly how I want this time.

At this moment tank is cycling 7 days and waiting for the new light to arrive in about 2-3 weeks from Dave.

Looks very nice;)

Hey Alex, post a picture of under cabinet. I think you modified some stuff there.

Nice build so Far! Do you have an emergency drain for your refugium? If that one drain clogs you might run into an issue.

No, I don't and I'm also afraid of that. Do you think it can happen? I have very slow flow through the refugium and I've even tryed to close the return with my palm and it's not overflowing anyway.
And I don't have a float switch.

I just know some times your chaeto can die sometimes for unexpected reason. If it does it will fall apart and might clog your drain.

Even if it doesn't fall apart you might start growing hair algae all over it and might slow down the drain enough to cause a flood.
