will the algae on my rock not allow my corals forms frags to grow into my rocks? Should I be cleaning my frags back to white again and rocks as well or leave them be?

Most Acropora corals will grow over algae. Some LPS corals won't, blastomussa corals for example, and it will actually kill them. Read up or ask some of the professional's on here about specific corals and how algae affects them. It is advisable to keep your organics down to eliminate as much algae as possible so you have success with your corals. It's always a balancing act. Good Luck!

detailing two frags for a long time in a shot glass to have zero input. Came from algae frag tank at lfs

I'd scraped it all off up to the polyp and filled with peroxide up to but not above the polyp. Burned clean, then put into tank. Enjoy and document another algae free decade :)
