Algae Attack!!!

Hey guys so I’ve been away from my tank since Sunday and I’ve had someone take care of it but she sent me a picture of the tank and it’s COVERED in green algae on the glass. My total photoperiod is like 13 hours and my parameters are nitrates: 20, nitrites: 0, ph: 8.3, and ammonia: 0
I get home tomorrow and I just want to be prepared to take action. Is my photo period too high or my nutrients out of my wack? I have a small CUC but I’ve only been gone for 5 days should algae really cover the glass?? I have some pictures my corals loom like they’re doing good still. Light is Biocube stock leds.

Ok wait so I should I clean the rock with peroxide when there’s coral glued on it?

Scrub it off with toothbrosh dipped it peroxide. Rinse in rodi water which is the only water that touches tank...haha replace

Oh haha so dip a toothbrush in peroxide then scrub the rock out of the tank, rinse in ro di then put back? The corals should be fine in a quick peroxide dip right?

Phosphates. I’d wipe down the panels to free the film algae into the water column and would remove/rinse in ro/di/reinstall whatever fine sponge or filter sock you have in the back chamber every few hours. Squeeze it out good and watch all of the green water come out of it. Export export export.

I wouldn’t sweat it, clean the glass and do a water change when you get home and maybe add a few more snails when you get a chance.
