Algae? Bacteria? ID please

These suckers are spread across my heater in my QT tank. What are they? Should I be worried about having them in there with my fish I'm QTing?

Zoomed out. They're about 1/4" big and seemingly solely on my heater.

It looks like those pineapple sponges. Harmless
