Great package, no problems with the copepods and phytoplankton.
Thank you very much! [emoji1]

my mandarin was getting a bit skinny, so i placed another order at @AlgaeBarn . now waiting for stuff. These guys are cool. @Kaway do you turn off the skimmer when u dose phyto?
Yes I do, I turn off return pump, power heads, reactor and skimmer. And turn back on after 15~20 minutes. No idea if make any difference on the skimmer. Ha[emoji1]

diamond bar! cool to see a local reefer. I'm located in Walnut.

be careful dosing those pollution bottles. your pod population will explode but so will the nutrient level

Nice to meet an neighbor reefer. Hehe
I'm just a beginner, learning here.
The main reason to feed my tank is mandarin, trying to keep he fat.[emoji1]
Also my nutrients are very low. If this increase my Nitrates a little bit I'll be happy.
amônia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 0
Phosphate 0.02

cool man! that's a good number to keep. Even though you are measuring 0, I'm sure there's some nitrate. so just try keep it at 0-1..

shoot me a pm if you ever run low on pods or anything. I have plenty of chaeto with tons of pod population. I have a pair of mandarin and a pair of scooter blennies. they are super easy as long as you establish a decent refugium. My female scooter blenny has been pregnant for awhile now

Thanks, I'll pm you for sure. Haha[emoji1]
Let me know if I can help you with anything.
Love to have a blenny, but not sure if will be too much fish in my tank.

Thank you for the photos and we are glad you are happy with the products! That is our #1 goal!

The OceanMagik Live Phyto, when dosed according the label, will not increase nutrient levels as it is still alive. This means it is actively photosynthesizing and growing. In order to grow it needs to uptake nitrate and phosphate which it gets directly from the water column, this means it gets those nutrients before most other nuisance algae can as they are stuck on a rock or the glass, etc. If you do see a nutrient spike when using the phyto, reduce the dosage until you find the correct amount for your specific tank. As always drop me an email at [email protected] and ill create a customized dosing schedule for you and your tank. Thanks again for the great review!
