Algae barn Coralline algae bottle

Has anyone used the coralline in a bottle from algae barn? If so was it worth it and how did it affect your tank?

ive used the coralline algae in a bottle the purple and pink stuff on amazon and it worked not sure how well because i did at it around 7-8 months so i was already getting some coralline growth

If you are talking about the Purple or Pink Helix then yes. It's from a company called Arcreef, you can look them up and what they are all about. Great company in my opinion. I used it when I first started my tank and within 8 weeks I had the purple pimples all over the place. Just remember to follow the directions to the "T" and understand it's going to take 2 to 3 months to see the results. You will also need to ensure you have stable tank parameters. I not only got the bottle full of little specs of coralline, they also had a rock about the size of a dime in there too covered in it. Great product if you are looking to speed up the process and can't get your hand on a rock from another reefer or your LFS.

that would be the stuff ya i was originally gonna use it on a new tank start up because says it has nitrifying bacteria and ended up not because had couple issues getting the new tank up so i put it in my other tank and yeah you can defiantly see the different colors of coralline

I have an established tank that I moved back in November and it’s having some new tank issues and my coralline died of. I’m just trying to jump it again
