Algae barn - Oceanmagik shelf life.

I bought a bottle of "Oceanmagik" a couple of months ago and been storing it in the fridge. Does anyone know how long this stuff keeps? It's live phytoplankton. I opened the bottle and smelled it and it smells fine (no rotten egg smell). My question is do you think it's still good to use? Any way of knowing?

I used up my bottle within the month I bought it, but I just gave it a shake every day to keep everything suspended. As long as it's not got a rotten egg smell (that's hydrogen sulfide), or an "off" smell, you should be fine to keep using it.
