Hey r2r, I'm considering different ways to reduce N&P with less daily maintenance so I was wondering what my options may be. The issue is I have a relatively small sump with only enough room for like 1 large reactor essentially.

I'm thinking I have enough room for 3 options: in sump chaeto reactor, diy refugium slot that'll be small, and an algae scrubber.

What were your experiences with these equipments? Do you prefer one over another or find one more successful? I'd love to hear, thanks

Pictures and measurements might help with narrowing down your choices. Also what is your current filtration?

It's a sump for the red sea 350. I'll be able to get you measurements in a bit when I'm on the computer.

Currently I'm doing carbon dosing + gfo with a nyos quantum 160

Looked up some pictures of your sump there seem to be quite a few that run a refugium by splitting the skimmer compartment. Probably wont be full 10% but with the right light, should offer enough nutrient reduction. Ive never used an algae scrubber or chetao reactor to compare.
But believe a small refugium, along with your gfo and carbon dosing and finding a balance on how much food; should meet your desired goals. Adding carbon to your gfo reactor might also have utility if your goal is reduced wc.
