Hello all, battling first GHA and now Dino’s? This tank is several years old, around 600 gallons total, a 300 display and a 125 frag. In the past I have battled bryopsis 2x. Overcame with reef flux both times. Then I started getting green hair/turf looking alge
In October. I blamed it on phosphates so I started dosing nopox and cut feedings. When I starTed testing I realized I zeroed my nutrients. I cut the dosing and started feeding again and cut back on water changes. The effects aren’t what I expected, the Dino’s are everywhere and the green algae remains. Current levels shown below as well as some pics. Tank overal is nearly 10 years old, 2 years since moving. I was targeting phosphates of .1 and nitrates of 2. Sort of fighting to get there as you can see. I have been trying to vac it out as much as possible weekly and change socks aggressively. Any input appreciated. Also added a fuge this month and more clean up crew. Not seeing much progress just yet. Is this a sit back and let it ride or do I need to interact more? Understand that nutrients were 0-0 for at least 2 months, thinking that was good…
