If your lights are bright enough for corals they are bright enough for algae. If it's isolated to coral frags or the rack you can scrape it off or do a hydrogen peroxide dip (Google search for techniques). If your lights have a lot of white's this can speed up algae growth. The more blue the better for slowing it down. Nutrients can also play a big role. You should use water from a RO/DI filter so it reads 0 TDS (this is what measures it) and measure your water's nitrates/phosphates to make sure they are staying down and not increasing. Good maintenance goes a long way to preventing algae outbreaks.
