Algae Blenny Mouth open breathing.

Blenny is still alive, we watched him a lot last night and he made 1 peck at some algae.

If anyone can look at the second video I posted to let me know if there is anything obviously wrong with the gills, let me know what you tjonk.

Can you see the actual gill tissue itself? In the last video, it almost looked like that tissue was pale pink. Itr should be dark red. Pale coloration indicates anemia.

I wasn't even thinking that, but it is pale. I was more wondering what is the nearly transparent tissue that looks like it is covering the gills? It looks like there is barely any opening for water to pass through.

I assume it must be normal, but I don't see it on other blenny videos.
