Hey all, i'm currently into week 2 of a fallow tank due to a velvet wipeout. I'm thinking I should expect this since my three tangs fell victim of the disease, but the back wall of my tank has started to grow some GHA and another nice green algae. Nothing on my rocks so it'll be removed pretty easily.

Just wanted to see if this was normal. Will be doing some testing shortly.

Yep. It happens. Time to get your elbows wet. Siphon that stuff off. Attaching a toothbrush to the end of your siphon hose and slowly working a small area at a time usually works pretty good. Bend the toothbrush a bit with a heat gun to get the right angle to the glass. ;)
