Hi everyone not gonna make this post too pong just wondering if anyone might know whats up with one of my systems. 6x3x1 Frag tank. Been letting it cycle for about 3 months havent added coral other than a “test coral” which is a hammer. I was having an algae bloom so I added a UV Sterilizer and although the algae cleared the tank has now been a milky white for two days. The fish and hammer are fine but I have no idea what it is. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

It's possible that when you killed the algae, all their nutrients were released back into the water, then taken up by bacteria causing a bacterial bloom.
I'd increase skimming, add some GAC, and decrease any carbon dosing.

I was thinking about that, but wouldnt the UV stop the bacteria from blooming? Im going to try to increase skimming thanks.
