I originally put up a thread a few weeks back thinking I had diatoms but now I’m not so sure. No amount of cleaning is curing it. As soon as the glass is cleaned, it gets dirty again but rocks are clean and sand is only dirty in low flow areas.
In the morning the tank is clean so it’s a photosynthetic type of algae.
Can anyone help.

When I sponge clean the glass, it is like a slimy texture and looks like this in my rinse bucket:
