Couple days ago my tank I think bloomed. I didn't change anything at all here is a pic.
It got so bad u can't see to the middle it looks like pea soup. Figured it would go away in time but been a week and no dice...
Any help would.be greatly appreciated.
Oh just remembered I did add some rods pods when I got my cleaner crew.

It is.actually worse.than.that now.

Also worth noting the green is all the water there is no algae on the glass or any of the rocks

I had an algae bloom like this once in my freshwater tank. Same exact scenario, all the algae was in the water column none of it was on the glass or anything else. The only thing that I could do to fix it without dumping in chemicals is do a total black out. I ran no light and wrapped the tank in blankets for about 5 days and it finally cleared up.

WOW. thats one heck of a bloom. holy moly..... something in there for it to feed off of. have you run any tests?

All parameters are normal ph 8.2 ammonia 0 nitrate 0 calcium at 400. Them are the only test kits I have.
A week ago it looked awesome.... Now this. Any ideas on how to get rid if it so I can start adding corals.

Its probly just phtyto from the bag of pods. I say let it run its course ur pod population should explode. It may look gross but its most likely not harmfull to anything. Maybe add a clam I bet it would have a feast in there lol

Still hasn't cleared, tryed all sugggestions so far. Any more ideas?

If ur really worried do a big wc. But I'm betting its just the phyto spread when u put in tank because conditions were perfect for it to spread. It shouldn't hurt anything and would get eaten overtime by pods and filterfeeders.

I have a couple small tanks that do that sometimes. Overnight the water will go from clear to cloudy, it happens if I go to long without a pwc. I usually do a large (~40%) water change and it clears right up. I have been growing macro algae in there and it seems to be helping, but kinda looks funky.
