Algae bloom??

Hello!

So out of no where I'm getting an algae bloom . Doesn't look like diatoms just looks like excessive algae growing on the sand bed ? What do you guys think ?

Maybe I'm leaving lights on too long?

Looks like excess algae on the sand to me too. I'm seeing the same thing in my tank, but I've slowly lost most of my hermits for one reason or another over the last two years, so I know mine is from feeding a little to heavily and a lack of CUC. I'm boosting the CUC with hermits and lessening my feeding to fix it.... oh and water changes!
