Guys, i just upgraded my light from AI Prime HD to Hydra 32hd on my waterbox 20 cube, using a schedule i found on the FB page of AI, it seems tht is the only one on 32hd, but tht has increased the algae in my tank every day evening there is a ton of algae on my tank, i need if anyone can share a decent lighting schedule for my tank

Also plz suggest if hydra 32 is right light or should i go back to the Prime HD?

Switch to 8 hour light schedule. Cut the greens and reds to 0. Everything looks fine other than that. The tank looks pretty new if it is algee is just one of the most annoying steps in this long journey to success.

Thank you William, the tank is quite old now, its just tht i hv upgraded the lights from prime hd to hydra 32, my second querry was is the 32hd not too strong light for this tank or is it ok?

It's okay. I would think that the 1 prime would be fine also. The light is only too strong if the corals you have do not like the light. If you have mostly soft and lps then I would most likely just stay with the Prime more SPS then the hydra would be better for the most part.

I recommend getting a PAR meter. I didn't realize I was putting out too much PAR when I went from 2x MHs to 2x Hyrda 52 HDs and cooked my tanked with 3x more PAR. Was a dummy thinking it wasn't enough PAR and kept increasing the output until I got a PAR meter.
