algae bloom!

I have an algae bloom all over my sandbed and im wondering how to get rid of it and if it will go away on its own

I've found algae on sand occurs periodicely over the years a system is running. The only thing I do is manual removal until it disappears. I'll do small weekly water changes and siphon off the top layer, rinse any sand that's removed, soak the sand in H2O2 for a few hours to a day, rinse well again and let it sit for a day or so before returning to the system.

I believe an “algae bloom “ is usually referencing algae in the water column. Algae on your sandbed such as diatoms are common and quickly syphoned out or just disappear on their own. Do you have pictures?
